Best authentic Mexican food in HB and the owners are awesome! They always know what we want . You can eat healthy here too. We usually get the carnitas burrito w/ whole wheat tortilla. My husband likes it with green sauce on top. They have fresh salsas and hot peppers and onions. They also have radishes, carrots, cucumber, limes, and cilantro. They have cream filled chores, flan, and jello. The price is great as well:)
Didn't want to go far from our resort. Decided to stay in neighborhood. This was our 1st time at this place. It was a great experience. Staff was so friendly and full of smiles. It's more a fast food place. Food was out of this world. This is a gem that normally you would drive by. Portions were huge, had left overs for next day lunch. We will definitely go to on next trip.
First time rating same location after over a year... but Connor (my 5yr old son) and I have been here twice this week alone, per little man's request... but HOLY HELL, the women here KICKASS (my son is in love with them), but our food is so damn good!! Juicy, fresh, made EXACTLY how we ask. HANDS DOWN BEST CASTENADA IN THE VALLEY!!! Huevos Rancheros and Carne Asada fries. We went to the drive thru around 1 am. Not entirely sure but we came from the casino and this was drunk carb loading. I freaking love Carne Asada Fries but these fries were refried for sure. They were soggy and oily. It’s actually a blessing cause it saved me from the calories since I didn’t touch the fries. I’m sure if we visited during the day time the fries would be perfect and I would be a pound fatter.

Found this place on a recommendation from a stranger at Winco right down the street. It’s been 13 years since I’ve been in California and was wanting some authentic Mexican food specifically a California burrito Cantaneda’s really hit the spot. Thank you so much my belly is so happy and full!
Gracious, humble, amazing food for an amazing price. There was another customer who had received a wrong order, and I cheekily asked if I might be able to get the incorrect order instead of them throwing it away. They said if the customer said okay, they'd do it no questions. Well, honestly... I'm sad I didn't order it myself before the gratuity they granted my party and I. Absolutely the best carne asada fries I've ever had. Some of the kindest and coolest workers ever. I'm coming back here and supporting 110%, everytime I'm in the area. The food, the people, the atmosphere, absolutely perfect. Shoutout and thank you to all the hard workers at Castaneda's! The food is worth WAY more than they advertise the price for. Thank you!
